A Pause in the Journey

During a work trip to Sioux Lookout, Ontario, my husband stayed in this charming little cabin perched along the water's edge. He shared a photograph with me, and I was immediately drawn to its peaceful setting. I knew I had to paint it. This watercolor captures the quiet beauty of a place where life seems to slow down—a reminder that sometimes the most memorable destinations are the ones that invite us to simply pause and take in the view.
