Cactus Flower

Arizona will always hold a special place in my heart. I painted this large oil painting as a gift for my mother, inspired by the brilliant cactus blossoms that transform the desert with unexpected beauty. After my mother passed away, I was fortunate to bring the painting home again, making it not only a celebration of the Southwest, but also a treasured reminder of her. This piece reminds me that even in the harshest landscapes, beauty has a way of blooming.
