Living Water

Living Water was inspired by the joy and refreshment found in Hawaiʻi, while also pointing to something greater. As a young woman lifts a freshly opened coconut, the flowing water becomes a reminder of the "living water" that Jesus spoke of—a gift that satisfies far beyond physical thirst. I always imagined this pastel as a companion piece to my watercolor, Coconut Water, celebrating both the beauty of island life and the hope found in faith.
