Originally created in pastel, Mele Kalikimaka Reef reimagines the spirit of Christmas beneath the sea. A festive tree emerges from a colorful collection of coral, seashells, and starfish, illuminated by rays of light filtering through the ocean above. Blending the wonder of the season with the beauty of Hawaiʻi's marine life, this unique artwork offers a joyful island interpretation of "Mele Kalikimaka"—Merry Christmas. Its special place in our hearts made it the artwork we chose for our own family Christmas card, sharing a little Hawaiian holiday aloha with friends and loved ones.
