Mokoliʻi (Lizard's Tail)

Originally painted in watercolor, Mokoliʻi (Lizard's Tail) was inspired by a photograph I captured while enjoying a picnic along Oʻahu's beautiful Windward Coast. Also known as Chinaman's Hat, this iconic offshore islet rises from the turquoise waters, framed by a shady kiawe tree and the peaceful shoreline. This painting reflects not only the natural beauty of Hawaiʻi but also the simple joy of spending a relaxing day with family and friends in one of the island's most scenic places.
