Refreshing Drink was inspired by a photograph my daughter captured while hiking near the Salt River in Arizona, where a herd of wild horses had gathered. As one horse paused for a refreshing drink, she captured a quiet, unguarded moment that immediately inspired me to paint it. This watercolor celebrates the beauty of Arizona's wild horses, the peaceful rhythm of nature, and the joy of finding extraordinary moments in the wild.
